About the business
I am currently a one-man operation, teaching primarily in-person and some online one-to-one 60-minute classes, plus a few group classes. In business since 2016.
I am looking for an independent, friendly and passionate teacher who would like to join me in building a small but impactful language school. The role combines part-time teaching with assistance in basic administrative tasks that support the growth of the business. You will have the freedom to teach in your own style while working within already-established overall approach and standards. Full training is provided.
My new colleague will ideally tick most of these boxes:
-
Has CZ/EU work permit, preferably active trade licence (živno).
-
C2-level speaker (need not be English native) with impeccable English.
-
Has at least some teaching experience (more important than qualifications).
-
Is punctual, diligent, responsible, patient and always friendly, yet professional.
-
Is comfortable with using standard digital and IT office tools, as well as basic troubleshooting.
-
Is passionate about English.
-
Communicates clearly.
-
Can always engage in a variety of topics.
Your teaching duties:
-
Classes are conversation based.
-
You will be guiding your clients through the minefields of learning English. Most of them will be adults, occasionally teenagers.
-
Classes are 60 minutes long either in-person or online. Some days will be both in-person & online (majority), some only online.
-
You will be building bespoke teaching plans (full training provided), assigning homework, and overseeing your clients' advances. No textbooks or curriculum are required, although you will be free to use those as secondary tools if you feel so inclined.
-
Besides teaching, you will need to handle very basic, class-related administration via a management app.
-
The role also includes marginal essential client communication (e.g., last-minute cancellations, specific client requests, collecting homework etc.) via WhatsApp and email.
Your assistant duties:
-
You will be responsible for our weekly email newsletter, making sure it follows the plan, is functional and ready to be sent.
-
Actively designing various materials (reusable HW, drills, exercises etc.) as well as bespoke teaching tools that help our clients achieve their ambition more quickly (visual aids, quizzes etc.).
-
Keeping online profiles up-to-date (e.g. Google Business Profile).
-
You may occasionally be asked to help with other matters outside this scope.
What I offer in return:
-
Full training - from how the classes are organised and run to internal processes and communication.
-
Independence - the role will suit a person who values working alone, without being micro-managed.
-
Stability - a small, established business, operating for nearly 10 years.
-
AI skills - you will learn how to boost your productivity and client satisfaction with various AI tools.
-
Dedicated work tools - work phone, email and apps, separating your work from private time.
-
Competitive financial reward per hour worked (two different rates for teaching & admin): given in your interview.
Working hours
Apply even if you can fill only some

I look forward to receiving your applications.
Milo.
